PRESIDENT'S MESSAGE. "OUR HUNTING HERITAGE"
When I returned from the 2009 SCI Convention in Reno it gave me an opportunity to reflect on the magnitude of SCI's growth over the years. SCI is the finest organization of its kind in the hunting world. One of the main objectives is to increase the number of lawmakers and political leaders worldwide who recognize SCI as the primary source of information on hunting and wildlife conservation. In a world of change, gun control laws and anti-hunters, I urge everyone to do their part to keep our right to hunt alive and strong. We must never become complacent and together with our efforts and growth we will continue to succeed.
One way to do this is to keep our youth involved and active in hunting and conservation. Spend the time to take a young person hunting. It is an investment in our future and will help preserve our hunting heritage. On behalf of the fine people of the East Ohio Northwest Penn Chapter of SCI, I extend gratitude and appreciation to everyone who works so hard to keep our hunting heritage alive.
